This project was created using leap motion tracking and P5 JS to construct a digital puppet named Henry the Handopus. The puppet follows the users hand and mimics the movement of the sea creature, linking each tentacle to each individual finger.
When a second hand is added to the sensor, a seahorse appears on screen along side with Henry. This project was just an exercise but had potential to be a learning tool to teach children about interaction with technology.
By making a circular motion with your hand, Henry would also change color.
